Step 7: Apply First Layer

Now apply first layer of glue using small roller with paper spreader like we did earlier with clay color white . We need only one paper spreader as there is no need for spreader while applying first layer of glue on tiles with brush . You can apply first layer using roller because we don’t need any other tools .
Spread glue from side opposite from where glue is already applied . After first layer has dried we can start spreading color directly from can . Keep applying until all area is covered with color .
Spread glue again after all area has dried . This will ensure glue gets absorbed properly into tile surface . Let it dry completely before going ahead with next steps .
